Hi, I'm Reba Ruth Knight, aka Rebecca Knight. I grew up in rural western North Carolina and have deep family roots in those southern Appalachian mountains. I have always had an interest in stories; hearing them, reading them, writing them; stories have always fascinated me. I have participated in theater work, even led a "drama team” for several years for my church in Asheville, NC. During those years I would at times write script and/or direct, as well as perform with the drama team. I have written several monologues of biblical women, many of which I have performed. I also appeared onstage with a couple of community theaters in NC in years past, and in more recent years with a Christian production company in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas, where I currently reside. I have a B.A. in Religion from Mars Hill College, now Mars Hill University, in Mars Hill, NC, which I received in 1981, and in 2018 I graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, TX, with a M.A. in Media Arts and Worship. In my personal life, I have been married for 45 years, and we have three adult children, two sons and a daughter, who are now themselves all married and raising families. We currently have 10 grandchildren, 4 boys and 6 girls, ranging in age from 18 years old to under 1 year old. I have so many stories in my head and my heart that I want to tell and hope to get as many of them out there as possible.
