A Tree Hugger’s AtonementI'm an admitted tree hugger. I celebrate Arbor Day likes it's New Year's eve. I've been involved with the planting of about 50,000 trees. I’ve had 3 epiphanies in my life. One is too personal to talk about, at least if I'm not lying on a couch and paying someone a hundred dollars an hour. One was when I went to sleep one night as a tough guy and woke up in the hospital, a handicapped old man. I like the word hundred. I like it even more when I change the end to erd. It just sounds cool. A hunderd bucks. A hunderd pounds. In 2020, Covid brought me to within a few heart beats of running out of "somedays". Writing a book was on that someday list. I started writing my book in a hospital bed. I finished it on a lounge chair, in a hut above the water in Panama. Things change and so can our troubles. My memoir resonates with that message. I'm on social media as Rawge the Wannabe Writer.
