In the corner of the ballroom, he stood. Lean and strong, slim but powerful. The essence of a knight, the shiniest of them all. That, was Lancelot. The most wonderful and trustable person I ever had in my life, the first and best friend, my personal knight. Saying I lived until now just to look at him every possible day and time sounded so unbelievable and childish. But that is what I like to think. He made me go feral, and I was a gracious now at age princess. The second heir of the throne, that luckily has a bigger ...

I pressed my hands on my ears, the thunders growing louder as time passed. They were getting closer, who knew when one would hit here. I was looking for him. The hooded figure that was chasing my dreams constantly, in this wooden cabin we've always found each other. It was decayed and abandoned; holes and broken wood all over. Not the most welcoming place, but it felt like comfortable when it's the two of us. A small private place I knew I was safe in, being reassured by him. But where was he that night? The shiny silver blade reflected my image, stained in dark red liquid patches. Dense drops dribbled off from the sword tip, still impaled in my Father’s torso. I could see my flabbergasted face on the cold steel, my barred eyes dry from the tears I versed. The sword traced its way back from the body, the wielder fuming a blazing glare at me. My leg wouldn’t leave me alone. I could feel a slight tension over my thigh, like someone was touching my skin. The pants had now two small cuts over the bite, they wouldn’t catch attention, they were casual. I didn’t know what to do, what would have happened after. Would I transform myself? How long would it take for that to happen? I wasn’t feeling any different, I could only sense the physical pain. I tightened my belt over my hips, rotating it to partially cover my thigh with one of the small bags.  Could I tell so...
Vague, cold rain drops were blurring the windows, the outdoor colours now gone looked all grey, but for once, it didn’t bother me. I felt cosy in the glass house, a cup of hot chocolate in my hands, the sweetness filling the air and my veins. It felt like a different life, this indifference towards the world was something new, or similar to my ignorance of Earth back on Azazel. But I wasn’t scared of it. I felt safe between the layers of glass, reflecting the outside world but keeping me apart from it. Surrounded by the clear cry...
