Levende Bibliotek The dark green  cover of the book feels scaly like an alligator’s skin. My fingers slowly trace the rumpled texture as I incredulously breathe, “Where did this come from?” I look up to see other books, stacks of books, laying on their side, standing upright and others stacked precariously with wide swaths of gossamer clinging to their edges.
