The throaty blatt of Les’s MG. I’ve just finished tidying up the bar after the big night.  ‘Where to, Tiger?’ Les says. ‘The usual?’ I climb in and we’re off, hood down, shirts ballooning, hair swept back, the slip stream catching at the words we fling at each other.
