I stare blankly at the walls of my bedroom, waiting. I am expecting a guest of sorts, one that has been lingering by my door for ages. He has been waiting for this moment, one where I am too tired to fight his entry. I shake and sweat, knowing I cannot hold this meeting off any longer. He beckons me, calling out my name in ways I had not perceived until this very moment. I scrambled to get up, unable to move the gaze of my tired eyes. The door slowly creaked open, as he stumbled in the frame, barely holding it together. He was gray, and alwa...

I can see him staring out the window in a peaceful state. Hair just shooken up from the past sleep, he runs his fingers through his blonde streaks and begins to determine his next steps. I want to be there, next to him, making sure he makes the right choices. The world is a terrible place to be, and I want to push all of that away from his being. But he can handle himself. Hello all, this is my letter to death. Death seeps into every aspect of life, no matter how far you can run. It destroys insides, relationships, and minds. You come on the most beautiful of moments, taking everything in your path. You are a restless regret that cannot be found. Beings everywhere fear you to great extents, but I am angry with you. I have not feared you, and therefore ...

In the distance sat an immense forest. A woman, beautiful as can be, walked by the old stone entrance to the path into the woods. Thick greenery covered the old stone entrance and beckoned the woman daily. Everyday she made the conscious decision to stay on track. She had materials to care for and felt there was no time to focus on her individually. In fact, that is utter nonsense and she is not important enough to think she could take any time for it. The only way to stay within societal expectations is to numb yourself to the what ifs. Act...

The first thought I had on this nicely dim morning was that of shock. The dream that was slowly creeping into my current consciousness had set my day off rather uneasy. Not that this was unusual. But I fail to get used to the nonsense the brain conceptualizes as it tries to make sense of the experiences beforehand. By the time the whole personification of my mind came back to me, I had fully dressed and gotten prepared for my job, without taking any extra thoughts to those steps. I continued past this intrusive realization because on this pa...
