The ancient branches of the weeping willow drag across the tops of the grass like the gentle glide of fingers over satin skin. Rebecka tilts her face toward the warm sunlight that pours between the leaves. From somewhere over the meadow, bluebirds sing with happy chirps. But they do not sit in the willow tree.
