  I open my eyes and groan. The sun is filtering in through my bedroom window and it’s too bright. My room is bleached white with the intensity of the sun rays. I literally feel my eyes burning. Okay, maybe they’re not literally burning, but the sun is still annoying as hell. I know I should get out of bed and go to school, but I can’t make myself get up.
