“Close the blinds, do it now.” “It’s after 10, who’s coming back?” “It’s 10:04, and I promise you…” The rap of the glass rapidly buckling in the doorframe startled them both. Molly turned to see a lankey, greying man in a snapback cupping his hand to the glass to peer in.
