Renee was breathing heavily. Her eyes were trembling under her lids and her limbs were spasming. Her heart seemed like it was going to jump out of her chest, as tiny droplets of sweat formed all over her forehead. Her hair was tangled and her skin was red from the heat. If you listened closely you could hear the pulse of her heart: bom, bom, bom. You could feel the moments go faster. Bom, bom, bom. And then her eyes sprang open!
