TW: murder, abuse, rape As I made myself a cup of tea that morning I was aware of the way the sunlight streamed in through the kitchen window, and I was aware of an ache in the pit of my stomach that darted like a fast fish with sharp fangs, up into my chest causing my heart to hurt.
