Neil L. Yuzuk was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and spent a career in sales before getting a college degree and becoming a Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Specialist for the NYC Board of Education. After he retired, he began writing the “Beachside PD” police/crime series with his son David A. Yuzuk, a police officer. After being wiped out by Hurricane Sandy, Neil moved to Los Angeles to study screenplay writing. There, helping David, he became a writer/producer of the documentary film “Finding Flaherty: The Giant Killer” and a contributor to David’s Amazon bestseller, “The Giant Killer.” In addition to writing short stories, Neil is now exploring the world of stage playwriting.
