It was fifteen past ten in the morning and Sam was going at an unprecedented speed, blow-drying her hair. She was running awfully behind time. She was expected at her friend’s house for Thanksgiving lunch at 11 o’ clock. For once, she wanted to surprise everyone by being at some place she was invited to on time.
