Author bio

Living in a century-old three-generation farmhouse in rural Ontario Molly hovers over her laptop downing coffee after coffee while she goes on a journey with her characters. Primarily known as a writer of short stories, she ventured into the world of novel writing with some misgivings. When Secrets Become Lies, her first novel, was published in 2015 and was very well received. Her second novel, While She Was Gone, 2019, is also getting rave revues. Molly studied creative writing at Carleton University and Algonquin College. She has published a collection of short stories, Fourteen Cups, a creative memoir, Wandering Backward and three children’s books, Snow Business, Trevor Tractor and Stuck On Me. Her stories appear in five Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies, NYMB, magazines, ezines and newspapers. Currently, she intends to publish another children's book and another collection of shot stories later this year. In her spare time she can be found hiking the byways with her camera strung around her neck all the while thinking where her protagonist is heading next.
