I woke up to a loud sound in the basement. I looked at my alarm clock it reads: 3:32am I am the only one that lives in this old house. at first i thought that it could just be something that fell over but then I heard it again. I took my steel baseball bat that is next to my bed hanging. I heard it a third time. I walked very slowly to the basement door that was two feet away from my bedroom door. the door was closed and there is no other way for anything to get in because if you want to close the basement door it makes a really loud noise ...
