Ella Wallace shuffled down the hall after her mother's German Shepherd, Cooper, a yawn erupting sluggishly from her. The once clear plastic cone around the dog's neck continually snagged and then grazed along the walls, breaking up the serenity of early morning with short, choppy bursts of unpleasant scraping. Author bio

As a woman of many interests, I graduated from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa with a degree in Biology and minor in Astronomy, then went on to receive a certificate of software engineering. I have been recently rekindling my life long love of creative writing which I have found to be therapeutic for my mental health.
