It was nearing 6 pm and I was nearly ready to leave for my dinners this evening. It was no easy feat to go to three different dinners in the course of two hours, but there was nothing I could do. I had a business dinner tonight that would address promotions and other matters, a dinner with my parents, and a dinner with my boyfriend Asher. I asked my parents and boyfriend if they could reschedule it but they were persistent that it had to be today.
