Teaching English in Scotland during the 90s introduced me to the Scottish Storytelling Centre and the traditional art of oral storytelling. In 2005, I exchanged the classroom for the life as an itinerant storyteller. Over the next 20 years, I have travelled across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Canada, sharing stories with individuals as well as community and corporate clients. Latter years have been spent working with organizations that support people with chronic illness and mental health challenges. More recently, I've been working with older folk in retirement and long term care, and hospice settings. I'm a certified Guided Autobiography Instructor and an End-of-Life Planning Facilitator and Trainer. When my in-person gigs closed due to the COVID pandemic, I returned to writing and began publishing short stories. I'm a member of the Hamilton Mountain Writers Guild and the Burlington Storytellers Guild, I currently reside in Hamilton, Canada. https://guidedautobiography.substack.com
