I am an eighteen-year-old who has always loved writing, especially poetry. After a series of familial traumas, covid, and a cancer diagnosis, I stopped. I have started again and love how I can process trauma and loss, as well as triumph and love, through my words. Most things I write never see the light of day because I write for myself, but the things here have tricked my perfectionist brain into thinking others can read them, so enjoy. I write a lot about mental health struggles, friendship, parents, betrayal, my relationship with my body, medical and social trauma, and nostalgia.
