Trigger Warning: This story has depictions of Alzheimer's/Dementia in it. “It’s mine and you can’t have it!” I speak out loud to God, from the comfort of my own bedroom, clutching my journal to my chest. I'm a preschool teacher that likes to write in my spare time. I don't write often because my "spare time" is mostly taken up by my twin toddlers. Also, I find that if I do sit down to write that I just stare at the blank page for at least 20 minutes.
