“It was me. I took your food, Alma.” Large, round green eyes stared as she fiddled with the can’s pull tab behind her back. The feline’s mouth pulled back, then a silent yawn fell out. The sharpness of the tab pinched the stiff skin of her finger, so she adjusted her grip. “Whattaya gonna do about it?” she drawled. Alma blinked, unhappy to say the least.
