(Story includes death, and sacrifice) Two lovers were almost dead amidst a crowd, yet both denied any possibility of a future without the other. After all, like a pair of swans, one would not go on without the other.It was the last night of nature's culling, and the harshest winter the village of Andanca had ever seen. Mason Monteith is a writer and a freelance editor; born in Delaware and raised across the United States in many journeys that have inspired the fantastical worlds of her books. She has two self-published novels out now: A regency fantasy novel in “The Spellbound Abbey”; and an Ancient-Greek-inspired novel about fate vs free will called “The Final Born.”
