“I did it for a laugh,’ Death mumbled sheepishly, trying to look anywhere other than at the young girl glaring at him. That is to say, she looked young. Probably about twelve to human eyes but in reality she was older than all of them. “What?” she roared and took a step closer to him, tilting her head upward to get a clear look at his face, which was bowed down.
