Author bio

I was born in Argentina, in the province of Tucumán. I currently live in Tartagal, Salta. I am an anthropologist. I have been writing poetry since adolescence—poetry and books, in general, have been my lifeline in the sea of loneliness in which I grew up. In 2010, I published my poems in the book *"Corazón de Chaguar."* I have also published literary works in *Cuadernos del Trópico* and the poetry collection *Poemario de las Dos Bandas,* under the direction of the writer Santos Vergara. In 2014, I won the First Prize for Literature in the province of Salta in the Children's and Youth Literature category, with the work *"Cuentos del Picaflor para su Bella Flor,"* receiving the "Oscar Montenegro" award. For five years, under my direction, I published the online portal *"Norte del Bermejo"* (www.nortedelbermejo.com.ar). In 2006 and 2010, I published a printed newspaper that included topics on history, anthropology, literature, and news. These editions are used as reference material in classrooms in Tartagal schools. In 2019, I published my book *TARTAGAL ÑAUPA,* which quickly sold out. In 2021, I published the second edition of *Tartagal Ñaupa.* In 2022, I published my book *TARTAGAL, Cuentos, Mitos y Leyendas* through Juanamanuela Editorial—a literary anthropological work that gathers the oral history of Tartagal. In this book, I rescue events that have been transformed into legends over the years. This year, 2023, I published my poetry book *PALABRAS FRESCAS, PALABRAS CALIENTES.* As a journalist, I have written articles and essays published on numerous websites. I have participated and continue to participate in Writers’ Gatherings organized in various provinces across our country.
