When a loved one is diagnosed with dementia, you go searching for answers. Or at least I did. There’s all these tips online and from ‘helpful’ people about how to ‘deal with’ them. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’m afraid a lot of the time. Everything around me is just so big and noisy, you know? Though the noisiness isn’t as much of an issue these days. I don’t really know how to tell them that I can’t hear much of what they’re saying anymore, despite having these big bat ears.
