It’s dark and I can’t see where I’m going. I could smash into practically anything right now, but I have no time to be cautious. I can’t hear or smell it, and I certainly can’t see it, but I know it’s coming for me. I know it’s coming the same way you would know when you’re about to be hit from the behind. The hairs on the back of my arms are standing up in fright. As I run, I wonder how it came to this. My best friend, my partner in crime....the person I trusted most.
