I.Pick up all toenail clippings from the coffee table.Lock the doors every time I leave the house.Remember coffee mug.Remember to remember.Wipe the hair from the shower glass before it ends up clogging the drain anyway.Some of these were real resolutions. The ones that weren’t were more fun to write, and not too hard either. Three dollar bills. A dot, a C, and a jackpot. Sixteen people - some strangers, some born to celebrate together for the rest of their lives - gather around a table built for eight. Snow’s only acceptable when it comes in the night. Not the dead of night when everyone’s asleep, like you did slinking in past curfew to make sure you wouldn’t wake the family dog.
