Hexed by the illusion in the glass, Cathia’s heart thuds against her chest in a frantic rhythm as she meets the soulless whirlpools instead of her gray eyes, and the twisted grin contradicting her own quivering lips. She can’t seem to tear away from the mirror, depicting her delusion in which she’d sought deliverance from.
