I remember everything. I’ve been here a long time. There isn’t much that goes on around me that I don’t notice. Every crack, every step. Every passerby. It is as if I know every leaf that falls, personally, and let them go to die. No matter how much changes, I will always stay. I know it’s a different world now than the one I grew up in.
