My laptop sat on my folded legs, sterile light less blinding as the sun poked it’s first rays through the shabby blinds. I sat, back pressed against the side of the bed, struggling to keep my eyes from falling shut. My head pounded, feeling like it might split from all the pressure, and I shut my eyes, anticipating the cup of coffee and tylenol that would soon be mine.
