The news was simple: at least for the holidays, she was coming home. I was ecstatic when I heard the news, though I knew she wouldn't have come to see me. I waited for her at the train station, the snow falling heavily past my shoulders, yet I didn't feel the bitter chill of the air as the breeze picked up.
