Lisa Marie Mottert grew up on the beautiful Jersey Shore. Lisa was inspired by her love of the shore, and wrote poetry diligently, from her cozy bedroom she shared with her sisters Later, some of her poetry, was published in anthologies. Two of her favorite forms of poetry she likes to write is Haiku and Acrostic. Some of her creative works can be found online. Ms. Mottert is a proud graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature (Connecticut, U. S.) in "Special Publishing for Children's Magazines. Ms. Mottert developed a passion for writing short stories for children. Lisa lives with her beloved husband Kenneth (Ken) in Virginia, with their four pets.
