I write under the name Liora—a name chosen to protect the space where truth can live unfiltered.
I'm a veteran, former federal security professional, and now a case manager in corrections, helping people navigate reentry after incarceration. My writing reflects the systems I’ve lived and worked inside—military, carceral, and otherwise—and the human cost they often ignore.
I focus on poetry, short fiction, and essays grounded in trauma, survival, injustice, and transformation. My work doesn’t look away—and it doesn’t ask you to either.
