I write under the name Liora, a name chosen to protect the space where truth can live unfiltered.
I'm a veteran, former federal security professional, and now a case manager in corrections, helping people navigate reentry after incarceration. My writing reflects the systems I’ve lived and worked inside, military, carceral, and otherwise, and the human cost they often ignore.
I focus on poetry, short fiction, and essays grounded in trauma, survival, injustice, and transformation. My work doesn’t look away and it doesn’t ask you to either.
