Lilly Mercer is a passionate storyteller, educator, and small business owner with over 18 years of experience teaching writing. She began her career as a high school English and Special Education teacher and has spent the past 13 years as the founder and president of Advantage Tutoring, where she supports students navigating mental health challenges, attention issues, and learning differences. Lilly holds a degree in English Education and a Master of Education in Learning Disabilities. After the loss of her beloved mother, she returned to her lifelong love of writing as a way to honor her memory and connect with others through humor, vulnerability, and shared humanity. Her work has been published in Minnesota Women’s Press and featured on the cover of Tonka Lifestyle Magazine. She writes to unite readers in the often messy but meaningful pursuit of hope, healing, and laughter.
