My name is Leah. Redwood and I have worked 19 years is early childhood special education. Prior to that I was a journalism major pursuing public relations. I've written for my college newspaper and had two p.r. internships.
After receiving my BA in Human Development at Pacific Oaks College I began a university intern program to be a teacher. So I worked 14 years as a special ed assistant and four years as a teacher.
Health challenges shifted me in a different direction. I left the district and got a substitute teaching permit and found myself falling back in love with writing. I'm hoping to find peace in this new season of my life substitute teaching and writing.
