Josh opened his eyes and was blinded by the glare of the sterile white room. He winced as the light seared his eyes, forcing him to shut them tightly. He tried to raise his arm to block the glare, but his muscles were too weak to cooperate. "Josh, can you hear me?" A soothing feminine voice cut through the haze that clouded his mind.
