As we travel up to the summit of Pike's Peak, I wish time would stand still. It makes my heart ache knowing that I won't be able to see the beauty surrounding me or watch my child experience it, for the first time, ever again. My thoughts are interrupted by my very excited 6 year old little boy. "Mommy! A bear!" Cole shrieks as he points out of his window towards a big black bear.
