It was just past three-thirty when the first customer pulled into Mo’s Irish Pub on the western outskirts of Omaha. Mo Murphy stood there behind the counter, listening to a Gaelic rock tape and plunging his damp gray washcloth into the bottoms of pint glasses when the bell tinkled.
