The Recyke machine was making a series of choking noises: coughing on its cheapness while it went about the task of processing what Jadesola had handed it and conveying the thin liquid to the fridge and into a dry insect disc. Angela hadn’t walked far, but it was enough to make her realise that she couldn’t easily return for the scarf; despite now knowing that her coat was insufficient for the time of year. Hi everyone, I’m a local builder from Boston (England) that loves to write. I’m a fan of most genres, but lean towards speculative, and enjoy building worlds. I’m looking forward to reading plenty of short stories and learning from a community of writers. Five years ago, I came across an idea whilst walking my dog, and haven’t been able to put my pen down since. I’ve written two unpublished novels and love to write short stories and flash fiction. I also enjoy writing Haiku’s too.
