In retrospect, it was kind of odd Kitten never wondered where the old mirror came from. It was rather blatantly out in the open, set next to the spiraling grand staircase.   The house’s wooden bottom was layered with barnacles. The sea threw itself against its foundation of sagging and weathered beams.   No one really knows how long the house has left.
