Who's the Ugliest of All? Rooting through the piles of junk on the shelves, a glint caught Maria's eye. The 'antique' shop had been a disappointment so far, little more than the kind of bric-a-brac more suited to a car boot sale. She reached past the mismatched china and lifted out a small mirror in a beautifully carved wooden frame. The mirror was being held by two stunning female figures, naked but with their modesty preserved by their long hair, which tumbled down almost to their knees. The base of the frame was a male figure, visible only...

The Zephyr’s Caress. Signs of spring were all around. The woodland was carpeted with daffodils, dotted with bunches of snowdrops, all swaying in the soft breeze. Tricia felt its airy caress on her hot face and let her tense body relax. The tears dried on her cheeks and her pulse gradually slowed. The woods were her place of escape when life at home was unbearable. Even onions make me queasy. On the other hand the butchers' section makes me drool in a most unattractive way. All that raw meat, dripping with bl....., bl..... No! I must not even think about that delecious, warm, red stuff. Eyes front and try not to ...

"OK kids, snuggle up and Gramps will tell you a story. Don't need no books. This story is sitting right here is this old head of mine. It happened to me right back then when I was knee-high to a grasshopper. Never forgotten it and I never will, not until they put me in a box in the churchyard, next to your Grandma. Well, it started out a normal enough day. I was up and about good and early and there was no hope of breakfast yet, so I opened the back door quietly and went off down the yard to use...
