   The road was wet from the heavy rains that fell like sheets from the sky. The last two days have been nothing but rain. As the car pulled into the driveway, a puddle splashed up around the windows. Eileen felt that it was about time the rain stopped. Flood watches were in effect, and nothing appeared that it would stop. As she looked up to the dark house, she noticed a shadow moving across the lower windows.
