Yippee, it’s time to play Ugh! This belly is so bouncy I like jumping on here. Wow, look at that big fat toe move when I bounce. Shh Mama is sleeping. Hey come over here and look out this window. Let me grab this first. Leave my tail alone. Not your tail, this toe. It is wiggling and calling to me. Oh look there is a deer in the yard. We should let the neighborhood know. Nylla has long brown hair, suntanned face, torso, and arms. But from the waist down she had green and blue scales covering a serpent’s tail. She was a mutant and an outcast from the village. Blue and gray jays perched on the high wires above the bird bath. Brown and red cardinals strolled through the crowd of birds pecking at the grass. A noisy woodpecker paused its grub-hunting tapping. Chickadees behind their masks joined with all the other flock...

It danced along the floor and swirls of dust arose behind the girl’s skips. She paused halfway across the room and stared at the workbench ladened with wood crafting tools and a variety of jars full of nails and screws. She wondered what all the tools were for. Li...

The foot traffic in the mall was heavy with the holidays right around the corner. Santa’s Coming to Town could be heard through the mall speakers. Store windows were frosted with snowflakes to highlight suitable presents for under trees. Sara assuredly strolled past the clothing, jewelry, and shoe stores while swinging her purchases with each step. The remainder of this shopping trip was all about books now. And the store she wanted was on the lower level.Sara ticked off gift ideas in her head while she strolled along the concourse. Occasion...
