It’s the first summer without Great-Grandpa, and coming back to his house creates a lump inside Elijah’s chest. Author bio

Kassidy Christon loves stories. In fact, stories motivated her to write her own. The first novel she ever wrote was The Lion King 3 in the third grade (she didn't know about copyright.) While she's never won any big awards, Kassidy's teachers, friends and family recognized that she had a unique-sometimes bizarre-imagination. During her time in middle school, Kassidy was known as the creator of Samuel and Charleston, who were a dynamic duo that went on various adventures. Fiction is her favorite topic and she prefers writing in the third person. Kassidy lives in Wisconsin with her mom, dad and younger sister. She's also one of Jehovah's Witnesses and often has trouble controlling herself when she's at Barnes and Noble.
