Florence heard the teenagers approaching and didn’t know whether to be excited or annoyed. She didn’t need to see them to know they were teenagers, it was always teenagers. Something about the abandoned mansion had a particular draw for the youthful. They were that perfect balance of unworldly and foolish with a heavy dose of ego.
