Today was a pretty long day. I just got off of work from doing a ten hour shift and all I can think about is how good my bed feels. I’m so excited that I can taste the sweet victory of lying in my sheets. It’s my comfort. Going out has never really been my thing, so I don’t do it too much. When I’m at home, I’m in my safe place. It’s been a long day today. She’s been struggling with her studies because she hasn’t been getting enough rest as she should. Oh well. It’s time to put the little one to bed. “Ok baby, it’s time for bed!” she said. She picked him up from his highchair and headed to the bathroom to clean him up and to lay him down for the night.
