Madeline found herself in front of a door. She felt dazed and confused as she stared at it, trying to remember what she was doing there. She was vaguely aware of herself opening the door and stepping inside the room. Only it wasn’t a room. It was an enormous garden, filled to the brim with plants that she couldn’t have imagined in her wildest daydreams.
