With a background in journalism and over 13 years of experience teaching music and language in Brazil and the U.S., Kaeyllane has a passion for storytelling that captures the resilience and complexity of immigrant experiences. Her work explores themes of identity, survival, and the sacrifices made for family. In addition to writing, she serves on the Board of Directors at Fairwinds Nantucket’s Behavioral Health Center, championing mental health support for her community.
