The pungent smoke was unusually thick this humid July night at Mulcahey’s Pub, considering the late hour. Mind you, the portly gent positioned mid-bar circumvented any hope of filtration from the undersized smoke-eater overhead, thanks to the Cuban clenched between yellow-stained teeth that belched acrid smoke every time he exhaled.
