Whenever my humble shop door opens, it’s time for my scintillating performance.  A homely bell welcomes my guest. It chimes on its own accord, untouched by the door. Snow waltzes in the open entryway, for just a moment, before a short girl emerges. She’s breathless from the cold. I crouch back into the shadows.
